InstaWall is committed to protecting user data and complying with Meta Platform Policies.
1. Automatic Data Deletion
When a merchant uninstalls the InstaWall app from their Shopify store:
- Access to their Instagram account is immediately revoked.
- Stored Instagram-related data is scheduled for deletion.
- All associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days of uninstall.
No further access to Instagram data is retained after uninstall.
2. What Data Is Deleted
Upon uninstall, the following data is deleted:
- Instagram account ID
- Username
- Media IDs
- Cached media URLs
- Associated configuration settings
We do not store passwords or private Instagram messages.
3. Manual Data Deletion Request
If you wish to request immediate deletion of your data without uninstalling the app, you may contact:

Please include:
- Your Shopify store URL
- Your Instagram username
We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
4. Revoking Permissions via Meta
Users may also revoke InstaWall’s access directly from their Meta account:
- Go to Facebook Settings
- Navigate to Apps and Websites
- Locate InstaWall
- Remove access
Revoking access will prevent further data processing.
