This Privacy Policy explains how Estimated Delivery Date (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and stores data when you install and use the App on your Shopify store.
2. Data We Collect
Merchant data (collected when you install the App):
- Your Shopify store domain (e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com)
- Shopify access token and session data required to authenticate with the Shopify Admin API
- App configuration data you create: delivery timer settings, product/collection rules, geolocation delivery zones, and holiday dates
Customer data:
- We do not collect, store, or process any personal data belonging to your store’s customers. The App only displays delivery date estimates on the storefront — no customer names, emails, addresses, or order data are stored.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data listed above solely to:
- Authenticate your store and maintain your session
- Store and serve the delivery settings and rules you configure
- Display accurate estimated delivery dates on your storefront
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Data is only transmitted to Shopify as required to operate an embedded Shopify app.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- When you uninstall the App, all store configuration data (timer settings, rules, geolocation zones, holidays, and session data) is permanently deleted from our database within 48 hours.
- You may also request manual deletion by contacting us at the email below.
6. GDPR Compliance
This App implements all three mandatory Shopify GDPR webhooks:
- Customer data request — we hold no customer PII, so no data is returned.
- Customer data erasure — we hold no customer PII, so no action is required.
- Shop data erasure — all shop data is permanently deleted upon request.
7. Security
Access to your store data is protected using Shopify’s OAuth authentication. We do not store credentials beyond what Shopify provides via its session management system.
